Scope of the Programme
As school education is at the foundation of Society the management of schools is of primary importance in nation building. Good school management involves integrating the multiple dimensions of its organisation into a strategic whole, to achieve short and long term goals.
While curriculum and pedagogy are vitally important in a well-run school, they are required to orchestrate with various other elements such as educational policy, the incorporation of human values, leadership, finance, marketing, performance appraisal and motivation, legal issues, E-learning and development of infrastructure. This programme aims at synthesising these essential elements into a harmonious entity.
A distinctive feature of this programme is the presentation of nine School Management Case Studies by educational leaders, covering The Doon School, Jesuit schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and institutions inspired by Swami Vivekananda, Sri Aurobindo and Sri J. Krishnamurti. In addition, experts share their views on the Management of Change, Continuous Development and Keeping Pace with Time.
Members of the faculty are seasoned practitioners whose insights will give value to the thought and practice of the school leaders attending the programme.

- Obtain a holistic view of all aspects of School Education Management
- Develop readiness to accept the challenges of administration and to provide leadership
